Matt Mooney
@MoonSwag13
I have been give my release from South Dakota. I am not for sure leaving USD, but I will be exploring my options as a grad transfer

6'3 guard, averaged 18 ppg and shot 36% from 3, im sure we'll be interested.

We have to land one of these grad transfers right? Thinking that for Midwestern mid-majors, Creighton would be an ideal place to come - chance to get playing time while still having a shot at a tourney run and Big East competition.

If Khyri leaves, we'll have plenty of minutes to go around, and even if he doesn't Mooney would be the first option off the bench and possibly starting depending on how well Mitch comes on this offseason.

If you were to create a wish list for grad transfers to come to Creighton, who would be your top choices?

I'll throw mine out there (in order):

1. Mike Daum
2. Joe Cremo
3. Ehab Amin
4. Ryan Taylor

If CU got any one of these four, the Jays jump 2-3 spots in the Big East for my prediction on the 2018-2019 season. These are impact players. Right now, I'm feeling blah about our prospects for a great upcoming season. But if CU scored a top transfer, and Khyri unexpectedly stays, blah would become giddy.

16 ppg, 39% from 3.....interesting that him and Cremo are visiting at same time. I wonder if the staff is looking for 2 grad transfers if they have an inkling that Khyri is leaving. Getting 2 of Cremo, Johnson, Mooney would definitely keep us near the top of the Big East....
