Any thoughts on our chances with him?

I think he'd be a perfect fit for us and he'd have to love playing in our system and in the BE

Just daydreaming here, but if we somehow got Daum, plus Taylor, and Khyri stayed - 2018/2019 could be something to really look forward to. Obviously, we'd have to lose a current scholarship player for that to happen, but annual attrition is usually a thing. Imagine:

G. Marcus Z
G. Khyri
G. Taylor
F. Daum
C. Krampelj

With Jacob, Mitch, Ty-shon, Ronnie, Mintz off bench (assuming Davion isn't the attrition, which I've heard some grumblings might happ...well, I'll stop right there.)

Again, this is fantasyland stuff. It's more likely we get neither. But still...fun to think about. The MVC and Summit League will save our season!!!

that would be an unbelievable lineup and we will be involved with taylor however if there is one thing I am confident about it is Mitch will be starting next year

Give me Taylor OR Daum and I'd be freakin ecstatic.

Not sure why posters are drooling over Daum. While he can score points, he doesn't have the athleticism to play at the high-major level on either side of the ball, IMO. And we NEED more nasty athleticism... especially in the paint.. which is where he would have to play. I have to admit, I've only seen him a few times. But in the times I've seen him, he doesn't strike me as the kind of player that would help us there. Plus, I just don't see him being able to run the floor like we want our bigs to do.

He's a slow, pastie white guy... who can't jump... and certainly could not defend the perimeter at BE level of play.

I would be really disappointed if he came. We can do better than that.

Daum would definitely have his flaws defensively but you gotta be kidding to think he wouldn’t fill it up on the offensive end.

Didn't say that he couldn't score points... as a matter of fact I said... "While he can score points...".

But, IMO we already have guys who can do that. We need guys that can play on BOTH sides of the ball. That's what we are lacking right now and why we are having trouble in March. Plus, he could possibly be a trailer in transition.... but we already have that too!

The teams that are still dancing have struck a balance between scoring points and denying points.

I'm sure all of you have heard this before. But if you can keep it out of our own bucket, then you always have a chance to win.

Believe me, I LOVE to watch the Let It Fly/Let's Run 'Em Over game we play. But I'm also into results.

I’ve heard this before about a certain All-American a few years ago.
