I’d say Mooney made the right choice heading to Texas Tech

You could probably say the same thing about Matt McQuaid choosing Michigan State.

I respectfully disagree. He could have been a difference maker here. He fits our system so much more than Izzo’s

I think it makes a big difference when a player gets starter minutes and a defined role. McQaid has always been the extra shooter there and only this year did he get starter minutes. Otherwise he was at 15-21 minutes a game for his first 3 years.

It's all a woulda-coulda kind of thing, but he would have been in a prime position to be utilized at the max here.
