Tamar Bates is a combo guard, currently #115 on 247 composite.

Creighton, K-State, & Mo State were in for
2021 Tamar Bates yesterday. Mizzou & Wichita State are expected tomorrow & Wake Forest coming next week. Mizzou unofficial planned for Sept. 21st, Nebraska unofficial for Sept. 27-28, & Creighton official Oct. 18-20. per

Both Chucky Hepburn and Matthew Mors are taking official visits to Wisconsin this weekend. I know they've mentioned wanting to play together..losing them both to Wisconsin would suck

Yeah same with Chucky and Sallis, Chucky and Donovan, etc. I wouldn’t overthink it.

Our top 3 targets for 2021 were Sallis, Hepburn, and Mors, right? 0/2 thus far.

The staff is going to have to be very active in the transfer market I think. Whiffing on all of your top targets year after year is disheartening, but finding quality "diamond in the rough" guys along with high-major talent in the the transfer market will have to do. At least until we can start winning games in March.

Sucks to lose both right off the bat, but better to lose out now and not at the end of the recruiting season -- and Are we sure they were our top 3? I think Sallis was very high. Mors they liked a lot and recruited from the beginning, but Hepburn is a guy we offered after everyone else (maybe part of how we lost Mors as well)

Believe Tamar Bates is visiting in October, and not sure just how much mutual interest yet, but Mason Miller feels like the kind of 4 we've wanted for a long time

Mors was #1 for sure in my eyes

you can debate Chucky's rank but a PG from Bellevue West should ALWAYS be a high priority for this program. We've prided ourselves about being the premier program in the State. Yes he's just one miss, but need to land the talent at home imo

If Mors, Hepburn, and Sallis weren't our top three then the guys we are actually after must be being kept super close to the vest. Do we have a real shot with Miller? His dad is on staff at Memphis.
