6-2 combo guard, elite defender, quality shooter, leader is grad transferring from Western Michigan. He missed the entire 2018-2019 season after playing the majority of the 2017-2018 season on a torn ACL.

Moore built a reputation as a lockdown perimeter defender, earning a spot on the All-Mid-American Conference defensive team and being named one Division I's top 30 "in your grill" defenders by ESPN college basketball analyst Jay Bilas.

He will visit Xavier (April 11-12) and then Creighton (April 13-14). Decision shortly after. Other schools involved:

Moore is working through the recruiting process now for a second time. Butler, Bradley, Creighton, Gonzaga, Loyola of Chicago, Missouri, Northwestern, Wichita State and Xavier

Moore's on his visit. Give him a warm welcome if you see him.

LOL. Maybe it's time to bring in a lead recruiter, Mac.

We have about the most returning minutes in the Big East on our roster and we already have a true frosh PG who looks to be a star, a returning senior off guard who is a good defender and sort of combo guard (much like Moore would be), in addition to two sophomore wings (Alexander and Ballock) who both need minutes and shots. I'm not terribly surprised he passed on us for a team where a graduation and transfer open up about 34 minutes a game for him to compete for.

Moore was an interesting guy, but hardly my top guy to get this off season

he's a nice player, and a likely thorn in our sides a few times this year when we play X.

As an aside, Xavier is bring in 8! new players now.
