In general, the article shows recruitment by position.

The article then review each prospect.

The article states Jays coaching staff did a good job of identifying and offering freshmen/sophomore HS players. But in most cases these prospect have blown-up and now other BIG conference schools have also offered.

We have little chance.

We really need to get involved and engaged with 2020 recruiting. This looks bad, especially with the rest of the conference killing it on the recruiting trail.

Could really use some good news on the recruiting trail soon. Jays are one of 4 Big East teams without a 2020 commit. The others:

Nova- They have no seniors, and are going to likely be extremely selective with this class.

Providence- currently linked on 247 to 5 prospects in the top 51 as having at least a "warm" interest.

Depaul- Linked to two prospects in the top 100 with "warm" interest although one has 6 crystal ball predictions to Duke.

It worries me that we are in a more similar position to DePaul than we are to Providence.

On the bright (i.e. women’s) side, Flan has FIVE quality verbals for 2020 already.

Were all these recruits after UCONN joined? I doubt it, let's give Flan some credit. Although honestly, I have no idea if the recruits he got are highly rated or not for CU standards....

Flan got them early enough where he could be selective, so yes, it’s a quality class.

Never have I seen such a lack of national/local enthusiasm, player quotes, stories, anything on recruiting.
