He looks and sounds like the real deal. He will need to cut down on turnovers as he averaged 5.6 per game, (8 games) in the 2019 FIBA U20 euro championship. He looks so good on film, it is almost like the film is sped up but it isn't.
Another very good recruiting class for the coaching staff.

I can see the coaches preaching even more this year to get out and go, go, go. Rati fits that style perfectly and with a year to learn from Z he could really develop nicely. Thinking about the hustle of our wings/big men mixed with PGs who can run and pass well makes for a transition offense of beauty.

So happy with this get. Point guards and top flight 5’s are the most difficult positions to fill in recruiting with less options than off guards, wings and forwards.

Suddenly CU has Z, Reef and Rati who can run point. At center the Jays have CB, Epp and Kalk. None of them are seniors (although odds Z being here after next year are low IMO). Not only that but Ballock is a point forward who leads the team in assists more than occasionally.

Rati was a key piece to set up next year. Just goes to show you can’t only go by Rivals and 247 lists.

ROLL DAMN JAYS!!

Nice. No chance for a long sales pitch from North Carolina or Kansas or whoever else if we get the commitment and the signing this fast and pretty much nobody linked us to him prior to all of this happening.

I think he's going to be a huge recruit for us. With Alexander leaving we needed a guy who could fill some minutes with that role on the wing, and his high level international experience should have him ready to compete very early. Longer term, he adds another ball handler and gives us more coverage if Marcus leaves next year as well.

Have to give a lot of credit to the coaches and to Huss in particular here.

I assume he didn't take a visit at any point before signing?

Brings our 2020 class up to #24 overall and 3rd in the Big East.
