Marcus Carr is transferring? Wow. Did not see that. That'll be huge whoever gets him.

What a shit show. There are 7 and 8 kids leaving single programs and the like. All these kids will not land in D1. Coaches will be selective and choose kids that fit their style —- except for the coaches who had 8 players leave!! :lol:

Ol’ Git must be creaming his jeans —- he lives for throwing out the old and bringing in the new!!

I wouldn't say "very rare." The D-II transfer market isn't overflowing with talent, but the track record for high-major schools that take a chance on D-II guys has been pretty solid over the last several years. I wrote this last year.

In 2-3 years there will be a lot of kids that were overlooked that ended up D2 looking to upgrade because of covid

Xavier Johnson is in the portal. I think we recruited him until Marcus committed. He later committed to NU before changing to Pittsburgh. He left Pitt late in the season. Solid player.
