Agreed on Kopp. We recruited him pretty hard out of HS as well.

I feel like it will be a pass this time around considering the amount of talent in the portal.

This IS a surprise...one of the better pg/guards in the portal...
Pittsburgh Panthers junior point guard Xavier Johnson is transferring.

The school made the surprise announcement Wednesday. Head men's basketball coach Jeff Capel said in a statement "it was in everyone's best interests that we part ways."
Hmmm...wonder what that is all about?

Sounds like a Teddy Allen Part 2, 3 or maybe 4?

Highlights remind me of a poor mans Mike Daum, albeit at a lower level of ball. Maybe a touch more athletic as well.

Didn’t pay much attention except to post some tweets. Just looked up that he’s 6’9, 240. Always felt we were one big short this year with Epp not able to go. Wouldn’t suck to have another 6’9 guy on the squad for a year as the young‘ens gain experience.

I thought the same thing. I’d take this guy in a heartbeat. Putting up better numbers than Denzel was at SEMO at 6’9”. Yes please.
