Hmmm, forgot about the Nitu kid from Canada showing on the CU list. Could he be our mystery international in play? Tall and very thin.

Edit: Did some digging and it sounds like he got hurt in early 2023. Still getting offers but from the likes of No. Illinois, Indiana State and the like (although a summer offer from Arizona St.).

Not sure what’s up. Sort of has a Chet Holmgren game (play all over the floor) and Chet Holmgren build (Feed him some steaks!).

Creighton landing three top 2024 recruits shows program isn't veering away from tradition

Christian has a lot of tools. Have no idea what the injury is but if he still has mobility he seems to be a great fit for the Jays. I've seen him listed at 7ft. at some sites and can flat shoot. He could red shirt if he needed to. Would love to have him be a Jay! Go Jays!!!

My first thought on Nitu was that we should save the scholly. In reality that means we should pull out all the stops and sign the young man!

We have a great class of incoming freshmen who have committed with probably more commitments coming.
I hope come Nov.8th all of our commitments sign and not do a TY-Ty Washington by not signing early. I knew when he didn't sign on the early date, he wasn't coming to Creighton.

I thought we were done (maybe I should say that ever time), but there is always a wish to add talent, and Nitu seems like a really unique and special talent. A few reasons why we are a good fit

- He's not a guy who you sort of throw into the 4 spot and just play without being a bit creative to protect him from getting knocked around too much in the paint. A team needs to be creative and allow him to play to his strengths in finding mismatches

- He can use a team that has a solid S&C program. CU's had one of the best in the country lately, IMO

- At least early in his career, having a deeper roster around him would allow him to play to his strengths and Creighton has that kind of roster

- And from the business side, we seem to have been successful helping foreign players navigate the NIL landscape as well, so that may be yet another factor in helping to land him

Interesting. This is not a name I have heard with a CU mention. Perhaps Jacob can shed light since he’s well tied into the local scene.

Edit: Sauter says he misspoke, Bahl is a 2025 recruit.

I assume we have moved on and it looks like rumors are Cincy or Bama, but deciding announcing October 6th and we are still named in the final 7.

We already knew CU was no longer in play but here is an announcement that he is down to three.
