I see a bit of Jefferson's game in him. Dynamic athlete who can do a lot of everything from running the floor to mixing it up in the paint. Blocks a ton of shots for his height, and is a great rebounder.

He was a scorer in HS so I think there is some hope that he can improve his outside shooting in the right environment

Out of HS we were in his Final 10. Then he cut from 10 to 3 with the final three of Oregon, Illinois, and Syracuse. Hoping the relationship is still strong. Would be a great pickup.

This guy sounds intriguing. Get him and someone to back up Kalkbrenner and we might have something going.

I think Guerrier would almost start the 5 over Kalkbrenner.

The list grows and the competition grows stiffer. I hate my word choice there.

Guerrier is listed at 6'7. He projects as a 3 in the NBA. He's not going to come here to play the 5.

He’s exactly the same height and weight as Bishop, fwiw. Not sure *he* is willing to play the 5 though, much like Christian was no longer willing to do so.

I don't think we have any intention of playing him as a regular 5 or even as the kind of 5 Bishop was. What he can do is be part of a defense where we switch just about everything and he's a great threat with his help and length.

Offensively, he looks like he can attack the basket and score in the lane right now. He wasn't a shooter at Syracuse, but he was a scorer in HS who could shoot from 3 back in HS.

Will we play some 5 out this year? Hawkins may be able to be a 5 like that.. think it all depends on if we land a good backup big man for Kalk
