Given the sheer numbers of guards we offered, I'd wait a bit to see what transpires. As a top 200+ kid he'll still be around come November. However, it is what it is!

Based on his eventual offer list and his no star status because he was not seen and thus not rated by the services, I am pretty confident Gtmo will be eating his words after one of these upcoming reshuffles.

Doesn't sound like you really do-but you should. Zeg early on they loved him and he was a 3 star and they thought they had a top guy (and they did). Mitch, Jefferson, and on and on they know talent evaluation. If this entire coaching staff likes him, welcome aboard- hopefully !

Our recruiting has been ratcheted up several levels these last few years. Guys who are/were higher on the list (236) are currently walkons in the program.
The coaches know their jobs, It just comes off as unusual, given our current levels of recruiting.

Mel, Mel. Mitch and Marcus were top 100 recruits and Damien Top 150. But, I get your intended message.

GTMO, I get your sentiments. However, not all guys on team should be top 100 guys. I view this guy as a great team player, practice player, guy who will be trusted, in the tradition of Tyler Clement. You need guys like that on a Mac team.
