McAndrew was highly ranked. Pursued by top programs. Etc. But for some inexplicable reason, I didn't have the same level of anticipation with him, based on his tape, as I have with other recent recruits (including/especially Larry Johnson, whose game CU needs).

Until now.

This highlight package from one game shows it all. Effortless logo range. Quicker feet and release than I ever remember seeing in other videos. Inside/outside game. Etc. Now I'm onboard. I know Jackson was sitting at home wondering when I'd finally flip a switch and become a Kool Aid drinker. I'm there.

Think of Kalk's transformation over his time at Creighton. If Jackson puts in that similar work, look out. And if Kalkbrenner and Ashworth stay, we add an impact transfer (Des Moines is only two hours away), and surround them with our existing pieces, plus our freshmen class, the old adage would be truer than ever. We don't rebuild; we reload.

Has there ever been a more exciting time to be a Jay fan?

I remember being excited waiting for Nate King to become eligible, but that was a different era, thank the maker.

Came up short of a state championship but a double double in his final high school game but even better, finished the year without an injury. C’mon down to Omaha in June and start your new journey young man.

Highlights of the Iverson classic. Jackson, looked more comfortable and quicker than I expected.

LJ also earned a spot by taking home MVP of the "showcase event," essentially the "2nd team" vs the Roundball Classic which Jackson was selected to as an All American.

We're getting some good ones...2 players at the Iverson classic...big time stuff.
