Does this suggest one or both of R2/Trey are considering portal? Trey will get some NBA looks but may be best served to come back for another year, as he's still young enough (doesn't turn 20 until May) to grow strength and avoid the "old" definition from the NBA.

I don't know why everyone is assuming that. It's completely possible and conceivable that R2 and Trey come back, we land Latrell, but Farabello, Reef, Ben, JC all leave. Wrightsell has produced a good amount at the D-1 level, something none of our current bench guards have done

Possible. But a week ago both Bello and Reef said they were coming back. That’s why they both skipped senior night activities.

Coming back to play college basketball, yes. Don’t think that means they’re 100% going to play at CU. Lots can change in the off-season

Sounds like there will be room for the names bouncing around.

It was Mac saying they had both told him they “intend to be back” next year — has there been anything anywhere that would suggest that somehow means “back” but at another school? And Bello would have to sit a year if he transfers to another school, wouldn’t he?

Finished with 15 points, but on 17 shots. Not a great game for him, clearly he was off tonight. He obviously does have skills and his dad was an excellent player for the Jays….

This transfer stuff will shorten McDermott’s coaching career. Rent a player won’t jibe with his personality of building relationships. He basically said so last summer.
