Watched a couple hours of film last night on Steven. He will elevate Trey's gameplay more than R2. Teams have to worry about Ashworth's shooting every possession which will create more room for Trey and AK to work.

I completely agree in theory.

Art and Trey should both be encouraged by improved spacing.

This pick-up moved us up to #1 in Bart Torvik's Predictions for next year. #4 Offense and #10 Defense. And that does not factor in Trey, who Torvik has off the roster for some reason (assuming he is going pro?). You add Trey back in, we have the #1 Offense and #5 Defense, and still the #1 team.

All hypothetical of course, still tons of transfers and player decisions to be made, but fun to think about.

Really good interview on Bishop’s show, he’ll definitely fit right in as one of the leaders on the team

I may be reading too much into this, but he talked about Trey and Kalk being at the recruitment dinner and speaking with Baylor on the phone. Even mentioned being excited to meet Traudt. Didn’t say anything about Kaluma though..

Really great interview. Older mature guy, well spoken. Broadcasting voice.

Interview from Let It Fly podcast. Nice tidbit on impression Creighton fans had on Steven. His team also played in Vegas after our game against BYU. He saw a crowd of blue and thought it was a nice BYU contingent only to realize in the 2nd half they were all Creighton fans!

Good interview, skip to 29:10 to avoid Husker drek.

His maturity is a great fit for the team. He's married and even created his own NIL company back in Utah as well, so it's not just talk from him

What all is Creighton getting with the addition of Steven Ashworth?

Matt DeMarinis dives in deep with the stats and video review to show the dynamic range Ashworth brings to Creighton.
