2014 PF Keita Bates-Diop

Illinois Wolves PF has offers from Northwestern, Purdue an DePaul and plays his high school ball in Normal, Illinois for University HS. He has interest from Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois. The kicker is his father was Richard Bates who played on the 1981 Creighton NCAA tournament team.

Illinois Wolves are coached by fathers of two good former MVC players. Mike Mullins (father of former Saluki and Jay killer, Bryan Mullins) is the head man and Sam Maniscalco's (formerly of Bradley, now at Illinois) dad is an assistant. I believe that this is Merfeld's recruiting territory....

Geeeeeeeez would be nice to capitalize on a big time kid with Creighton ties.
