You could tell he had BCS-itis from his quotes, so I was very surprised when he didn't commit while at KSU this weekend.

The thing I do not understand is all the HS kids these days say they want an up and down, fast tempo style. We were one of the top ten scoring offenses in the nation last year and, as far as athletic wings go, we're going pretty far down the pecking order here. We went after Harris, Foster, Ec Mathews, Wes Clark, Soma Edo, Terrance Samuel, etc. and we can't even get any of these guys to freaking visit. That is strange to me.

Maybe when they say they want a program that gets up and down, it's like 15th on their priority list.

Never have I seen Creighton have a recruiting year like this past one. In prior years we might not have signed one guy yet. We have what we need and are trying to put the icing on the cake. Keep that part in mind. We dont even have to get the icing on the cake this year. We could sign a guy next year instead. Coaches tell kids what they want to hear. Weber very weil could have told this kid anything. Everyone does it. Normally you want the last recruiting visit. Not this time. Bummer, you move on.

Foster reminds me of a player it would be a good idea to be nice to right now. We could see him pop up on Goodman's transfer list in a year or two.

Again -- just stunned, thought he was going to be a Jay.

hilltop - are we still trying to push for the visit?

wouldn't be the first time a kid has committed and then flipped on a final visit.

i'm bummed about this one.

Good luck to him. I hope he enjoys his college experience.

That said, he'll only have to average about 9 ppg to lead the team in scoring.

51-46 game scores, woohoo!!!

Movin' On.

Pocket the "Dad" until the Spring. Take the top available guard - after our good NCAA Run.

OR

Save it for Reid Travis.

Here, I dug up an old quote that made somebody look good.
