Creighton Bars

Postby SendDustyIn » Fri Nov 08, 2013 2:23 pm

Can we get a list of the Creighton bars by city? And can it get a sticky? I think there's going to be a ton of excitement and people are going to want to know where to go to watch games. Also, now that away games will be in actual cities, it'd be awesome to know where everyone else is going to be pre/post game if you're traveling.

Chicago has a deal with Jaks Tap. Forgot to mention, Jaks offers 20% off the bill during Creighton games.
Sounds like Denver has Prohibition.
Obviously Omaha has the Jay, among other places.

Feel free to add others. I know MN has a place, and DC is a maybe.

EDIT - Thanks for the sticky.

Kansas City has the GranFalloon in the Plaza.

I've only gone once for a CU game, and you could barely tell it was a "watch site" though :|

The Greater Nebraska/Lincoln chapter of the Creighton alumni club are working on a deal with Brewskys to have a spot for us for various games.

DC proper may have others, but when I lived in the area...

The Bungalow in Shirlington (Arlington, VA). There are 4 Bungalow sports bars in the metro area. This one is just past the Pentagon, heading south on I-395. 20 or so televisions, cable and satellite coverages, excellent chow.

Billy's on Grand in St. Paul is the "Creighton Bar" in the Twin Cities. Always a lot of Jays viewing parties during big basketball games there.

As a current UNL student, this excites me.

The DC Alumni group set up a deal with the Grand Slam Sports Bar in the Hyatt on H Street for CU games. Though having FS1 helps watching games pretty much anywhere.

Any places in Chicago to watch this Saturday's game vs. St. Joe's?

I'll be in the windy city for business and should be done by 5pm with enough time to watch the game via Twitter scrolling. Wish I could watch it live.
