Work to be done for former Creighton star Justin Patton, but the Timberwolves' first-round pick used to transition

Wow Butler, Teague, and now Gibson to the Wolves. If they were in the East i could see a top 3 seed but in the west they're a fringe playoff seed. They're going to be really good.

My hope for Justin is he either:
A) gets to play in the developmental league and work with NBA guys on strength and conditioning
B) gets the 4th big man slot behind Towns, Gibson and Dieng. Hopefully he can pass the 8mpg 2pt 2rb machine of Cole Aldrich.

What I don't want to see is Justin buried on the bench not playing any minutes. Should be a fun first year for him tho

Patton broke his foot today. Not good at all for him. There is some concern that it's the same injury that sidelined Embiid and Simmons.

However, if anybody was questioning his decision to leave, it was just confirmed it was the right one. Had this happened in college his draft stock would have plummeted. Happy he got paid.

Wow, hopefully there isn't any long term damage and he can work on S&C while recuperating still.

Definitely makes the contract incredibly important for him going forward.

+1. Mac and staff get props for handling this correctly from the get go. Hopefully, everything is fine long term, but thank goodness with the decision.
