Matt Hoover says it all graphically.

New mock draft has Khyri going 21 to the Pacers. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2747690-2018-nba-mock-draft-duke-star-in-training-marvin-bagley-leads-the-pack
Man, I really hope he doesn't leave.

"Khyri Thomas' calling card has always been defense, which remains a major selling point today. Quick, strong and aggressive, he's established himself as one of college basketball's toughest perimeter defenders.

But Thomas is suddenly averaging 16.8 points per game, having taken on a larger role as a scorer. And he continues to strengthen his credibility as a shooter, making 2.3 threes at a 46.2 percent clip.

Even without the fancy one-on-one game or point guard playmaking instincts, Thomas has become a talking point in the first-round discussion for his ability to lock down and make shots"

Khyri Thomas is the player of the future... medium size with tremendous length (quick as any guard but plays with the length of a forward) that can score 3s and run the floor... efficiently lethal... The perfect basketball machine.

Forgot to mention the high work rate and strong leadership skills that he has developed.

Wow, he is up there with some solid players. A little surprised he is that high right now, but what a player! Also surprised that some Nova players aren't on the list (Brunson, Spellman,) Blueitt from X and our own Marcus Foster.

I love Khyri. He’s one of my favorite Creighton players of all time. But the draft projections seem a bit premature at this juncture.

it's probable that a good number of scouts saw him against UCLA and especially Baylor. there might be a novelty effect, teams see him for the first time and he shoots up their draft board. remember when JP was getting top 5 looks? this could be a similar situation. khyri is worthy of a first round pick, but there's no way he's the 18th best prospect in the class. I see him going in the 20's-30's, he will be a high value pick in that range as an upperclassman with a good body and potential to contribute on defense immediately.
