First time that an opposing coach will be looking down at Coach Mac in the handshake line?

Great hire. This experiment will NOT go well for the hoyers. This hire will surely keep ol' G'twn in the bottom tier of the BEast for the foreseeable future-Great.

The cujaysfan post/remark above irt moves from Pros to college is correct, as it usually doesn't work out well. More opportunity for the 3 newer additions to solidify their current standing amongst the BE top tier of schools. Yeah, yeah..."The BE needs a strong G'twn, StJ, and Villanova for conference rankings, respect, yada yada yada".

I couldn't have received a better Easter present. Thanks Georgetown. ;)

Georgetown will continue to field a decent squad and won't go through the deep drop SJU went through right after Lavin. Think they'll finish 8th next year, but what I'm really concerned about is them maintaining their compuosure in the non-con.

Since we've joined the BE they have those head-scratcher games every year with pretty mediocre record coming into BE play. Need no bad losses and hopefully some upsets next non-con.

Maybe we'll finally win in DC....

This means absolutely nothing, but here's Lunardi's way too early bracket for next year. http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology

Lunardi gives the Valley Championship to Wichita St. I still get the feeling they won't be competing there

Oh, it's more than a feeling. They're definitely off to the AAC, and good for them.

yes, but not sure if guarantee they will be there for 2017-2018 year. Maybe it is, but some indicated that 2018-2019 may be more likely.

They'll be in AAC next season. Done deal.

Xavier has one ride open (Sumner), and Bluiett is testing NBA waters, which would make two open spots.

Mack has extended an offer to Michael Weathers, who visits next week. They'll have Kerem Kanter on campus this weekend. AND Mack's visiting with Ed Morrow this weekend. It would seem Xavier is expecting more defections from their roster.
