Even more confusing given that we have Foster, Thomas, Harrell, Alexander, Ballock already, are pursuing Bowen and prior to Kobe announcing he was transferring we were pursuing Jarreau. Granted Jarreau is listed as a point guard but he is a shooting point guard. That is 7 players that can play that position, 2 of which are publicly being pursued while we have 0 centers.

I'm not super familiar with Jarreau's game, but he had the 12th best assist rate in the nation last year.

Is this a new position? PG, SPG, SG, SF, PF & C?

The kid is a PG. in fact, a 6'5" PG that scores at the rim in bunches as well as taking outside shots. No need to change his position just to try to make some sort of convoluted point.

That "get over the hump season" was supposed to be this year. The longer it doesn't happen, the more it looms over the program. When it happens, then we can forget about doing it for the first time, and hope for it to happen every year.

As much small ball as the jays will be playing next year, as the roster currently stands, I see little reason to expect a sweet 16 team.

Lame. Particularly when you consider that during Mac's tenure we have frequently had 2 point guards on the floor

Good luck to him, it will be interesting to see how he does when he gets more playing time in 2018.

Good luck to Kobe. Just out of curiosity looked up the C.S. Northridge 16/17 season. 11-19 season in the Big West and #284 on KenPom. Woof.
