I found the article and posted for viewing. I don't agree with Rothstein, but posted as it has been slow around here.

Anyone up north there seen the Lindy's, Street&Smith's, or Athlon top 25 and their take on the BE and the Jays? Not for sale down here. And only Blue Ribbon has a digital version for sale.

Manny played this summer in the Metro league with and against most of the Creighton players. There was much said about Manny during his summer play. I went to see him play and was impressed by his skills. He can shoot, passes well, he's big, and knows the game. I look for Manny to help the Jays this year.

He looks real sharp in his new East Mississippi (JUCO) uniform.

I know a lot of people are concerned with our frontcourt, but I actually see it improving over last season. Justin Patton was incredible to watch and made some huge plays, but our rebounding and defense was not spectacular with him in there. After Mo went down, he averaged 5.8 rebounds the rest of the season.

I think Martin and Manny (The M bros) are gonna be cleaning up the paint this year. Then Ronnie and Toby can give us that stretch four that works so well with our offense. As long as everybody stays healthy our frontcourt should be good to pair up with our stellar wings. There's no way the Jays are finishing outside the Top 5 in the Big East this year. Is it November yet?

My bad. All I found was "...while playing with Manny. manny is plenty big but not as beefy as I had thought."
Thanks for the report.

Don't we still have one more scholarship open? Who do you think it will go to? Will Clement get it?

Might as well hang on to it for a possible December transfer.

The last scholie will go to another 2018 recruit. Clement, lol.

Blue Ribbon has posted: https://blueribbonyearbook.com/blogs/news/arizona-tops-blue-ribbons-37th-annual-preseason-rankings

Surprised that SH is ahead of X, by a lot. I don't think they will hold up their end of the bargain. Jays will beat 'em early, as the Pirates should be feelin it early.

Only N'Western, UCLA, and the Zags are ranked by BR, no Wiscy (even though they have Happ as a 1st team AA.) or Baylor. Playing NWern at the Rosemont should help, and a neutral court for a young UCLA is great. I expect the Jays to win both (and the CBE Classic). According to the article none of the other mags have published yet.

Sharp looking new court design. Glad we aren't doing this every ten years compared to four this go around.
