Our most likely seed is a 4 or 5 at this point if we keep playing like we have. Think we have the talent to compete for 2nd/3rd in the BE. Just gotta maintain that composure and avoid injuries.

I'm not playing that game this year! Its bad juju. Let's just be patient and see how things play out.

13-5 would be VERY impressive... might even be enough to make them the regular season champion... or at least in a tie.

I happen to think we have a very impressive team. But maybe I've just been taking Gtmo's bluenotes too much to heart.

Don’t forget, we’ve had a very easy schedule to start BE play. We’ve only played 1 game against a top half team. The teams we beat are a combined 3-9 in BE play. This next 10 days will tell us much more about where we stand after we play X and Butler and get another shot at SH.

14-4 guys, get on board. A 2-0 week would put us right in the drivers seat.

Maybe this will be the year where we finally get a good draw in the NCAAT. Or maybe we'll get lucky and face an upstart 13 seed in the second round or something. We are due for some luck in the dance.

That's true. Coming off probably our easiest stretch of BE play. These next 5 games (the rest of January) look to be our toughest 5 of the season (even more than the NW,UCLA,Baylor,Gonzaga stretch). With Butler and Seton Hall at home, Xavier Providence and St. John's on the road we take on 2 top 10 RPI teams and nobody worse than 57 in the RPI.

If we can manage a 3-2 stretch through this gauntlet our RPI should settle in the 20s and our KenPom most likely higher. I'm really looking forward to this month because we're going to find out a lot about this team and how they respond to adversity in tough BE contests.
