Countdown guy says Epperson will start at center.

Any reaction to that?

Hegner is the starting power forward.

I respectfully disagree. I know we have some question marks, and I know we played poor to middling without Mo down the stretch last year. But, IMO, we have two of the best wings in the league in KT and MF, and a matchup nightmare in Ronnie. Hegner seemed to have gotten over the bug in his shot from sophomore season and early last year. I look to him to have a tremendous year shooting (maybe hitting 3 or so tres a game). Even with some question regarding size in the middle, there just aren't that many teams with a dominant big man. IMO, Martin/Toby/Manny/Jacob (whatever combination plays) will be at worst serviceable in the middle and very competitive in most games. Provided KJ or a hopefully a more confident and improved Davion can get the ball where it needs to go and play good defense, this is a top 4 BE team and a top 25 team overall. We won't rely on Tyler C (though he will probably still see some time, IMO, when Kaleb and/or Davion get into foul trouble). We have Tyshon and Mitchell also looking to make an impact when spelling KT or MF. We will have more depth than last year at all positions to withstand a starter getting into early foul trouble. We might have a couple of hiccups early. But I really think they will be a team no one wants to see on their side of the bracket come March.

^^ you have to let me in on your secret for keeping all that kool-aid down...our offense will allow us to compete at times with more experienced teams. our defense and rebounding will kill us in more games, though. just my hot take...#38 does seem high, but if we want to make the tourney its not that much higher than the cutoff.

The comment about Sam was dripping with sarcasm so thick it has been invited to the Maple syrup festival in Vermont. It was so tongue in cheek that the Adult Video News (AVN) has nominated it for a porn academy award.
