Ronnie Harrell transferring

Damn, that's a big blow for Creighton going into next year. Ronnie is graduate transferring back home to Denver. Best of luck to him, he will be sorely missed

Weird that I'm replying to my own thread, but this is probably why Mac was going after several guys. He probably had a pretty good idea this would happen. Pipe dream is Taz stays and we land Joe Cremo AND Mike Daum. One can dream.

Yeah that pipe dream would be pretty amazing. Sad to see Ronnie is leaving. It was great to see him finally flourish this year after Mac, in my opinion, did not utilize him well or enough his first two seasons here. Hope he does well in denver.

Man, fun player to watch.... Sucks. Taking a step down too, odd.

Rodney Billups (Chauncey's brother) is the coach and I am fairly certain he is Ronnie's uncle.

DU is straight terrible. I was really hoping the Jays would schedule a game on the front range for Ronnie's family. Guess not.

The Jays front court is thinner than last year somehow.

Good luck to him. He had a great shot at starting his entire senior season on a Big East team. I get the whole hometown, play for your uncle angle, but still odd.

Given how many times he was in Mac's doghouse (rightfully or not), im not surprised he decided to leave, especially to play at home and for his uncle.

High energy guy, I enjoyed watching Ronnie play. However, he was not a very good 4 in my opinion as he could not make interior shots and despite his ball handling skills was limited offensively. Not a big loss as far as I am concerned and he will be easy to replace.
