As posted earlier today in the 2017-18 Season thread by taa71458 & KenoshaJay the team cracked both major polls today. The Gonzaga game will tell whether this is a long or short stay for the Jays. ;)

Called it to the day.

Didn't you predict the Jays would go 2-0 in KC also? Just asking.

Incorrect. He had us at 3-0.

I'm a huge fan of people making 82 predictions, getting one right, and boasting about it. It takes a certain chutzpah. Skip Bayless used to do that. Speaking of which, I've never met one person who likes Skip Bayless. Are" Skip Bayless fans" a thing?

gtmo was the only one who came close to predicting JP's numbers. i remember everyone, including myself, thinking 10-12ppg was laughable. Gtmo may be wrong a lot but when he's right, he looks like a savant

Oh the shame of it all - to be lumped in the pot with Skip Bayless, shame, shame. Thanks Vivid. I'll just go sit in the corner now, whimper...sniffle...whine.

Yes I expected to win both games in KC and bring the trophy back to the Hilltop. It was a less talented Baylor squad this season. I have us with a 1-loss non-conference slate (@Gonzaga, so I am hoping to be incorrect again Vivid).

My annual predictions hopefully raise the bar for our fans. I almost always have us winning 24-26 regular season games and then the BET and a couple in the dance. I just hate it when many undervalue our team with 16-18 W's on the season. Our coaches and team are generally much better than that...Teams generally will rise or fall to expectation levels and I just pump sunshine and expect more from our team.
