Shouldn't be much of a game.

Hope the crowd isn't a sleep and a few fans show up.

With a team that shoots as many 3 as they do, it could be closer than anticipated if they get hot.

Heard the spread was 28. Looking for 85-65 good guys.

They do shoot a TON of 3s, but we have less than 50 fewer 3 pointers made on 150 less attempts. They don't shoot it particularly well. They also give up close to 80 ppg on defense. If we don't score 100 I will be incredibly surprised.

I'd like to see the guys lock in on the perimeter D against this team and hold them to under 30 percent from behind the arc. Shooting threes is what USCU does, and it's allowed them to stay within 15 of Minnesota and 10 of Georgia so far this year -- they lost, but both of those scores were much closer than a home fan would have been comfortable with.

This game should not be close at any point. So really locking in and shutting down their strongest focus would make me really happy.

Here's the Primer for tonight's game. As others have said, USC Upstate shoots an unbelievable number of threes (51% of their attempts, which is INSANE). They're an average shooting team, but they shoot so damn many threes that when they're falling they're able to keep the score close. They hung around on the road against both Minnesota and Georgia and made those two teams sweat it out. But when the shots don't fall, they get boat raced like they did at K-State, where they lost by 37 because they've got zero inside game at all and their guards can't/don't really penetrate. Over 80% of their shot attempts are jumpers. I can't recall scouting a team like this before. It's bizarre.

Oh, and this is the worst defensive team the Jays will play all year. I'll be disappointed if CU doesn't hang 100+ on them. Lock down the perimeter and they could win by 40.

I would love to hang another 100 point game on someone. I'll be watching from home though tonight.

We played sloppy as hell against UMES and still won by a billion. I expect a similar performance tonight at minimum. Would like to see us double them up and win 100-50 or similar.

90-81 = “a billion”

Wrong game, 90-81 is UTA score RH. "A billion" for UMES was 87-36. ;)

Ahh. My bad. That IS more like a billion!

Would love to see a true double-up tonight. Don’t expect it, though.
