Another double-digit lead in the second half. Looking for effort and composure from the Jays to seal this.

Is Kaleb Joseph on the bench? Didn't see him on the TV broadcast

Not flashy, but an excellent win. The Friars couldn't buy a three.

Martin: Excellent hands. Defense is getting better. If he can just hit his threes...

Toby: Really nice game.

Foster: Efficient. No turnovers!

Khyri: Strong defense, but he's in a shooting slump. 9-27 in the past two games (1-11 from three).

Ronnie: Good again on the boards. Nice range today.

Mitch: When will he attempt a shot?

Ty-Shon: Hope he's okay. Still love his confidence to step up and hit a distance shot.

Let's protect the home court against SJU.

Huge win. Going 0-2 would have been disastrous. Loved seeing us put them away in the 2nd half. Anything up with Ballock, he's playing but seems very passive the last two games....

solid rebound game from thurs

good to protect home court

from about the 10 min mark in the second half - it was never really in doubt and we kinda coasted to the finish

always good to beat PC

Great 2nd half as Creighton wins the 2nd half battle 44 - 35 and it wasn't even that close. This was against a team that was coming off a 22 point win at St. John's in which St John's was favored.
This should quite the 2nd half critics for a few days.

Jon's notes from the game: Ronnie Harrell big off the bench; Davion Mintz takes advantage of opportunities

Good game all around, but I want to highlight what our big man rotation did yesterday. Providence has some big guys up front, but we took them apart for the most part. Their center is 6-10, 260, Forward 6-8, 225, backup forward 6-9, 255...

Yet, the combined numbers of Martin, Hegner and Harrell are really outstanding:

67 minutes, 36 points, 20 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 block, 3 steals (11/23 FG, 5/13 from 3PT, 9/10 FT).

Every year we talk about the interior guys as a weakness, but every year, Mac develops big men. You'd think we'd figure out that he can do that... Now, I do think we lack depth there, and Saurez just isn't a guy we can play for big minutes. As with the SH game, it can hurt us when the calls go against us inside, but that's probably not that much different than most teams in college ball.
