Here's the Primer, such as it is for a basically unpreviewable game. Here's hoping the Jays finish what they start, unlike a year ago against Truman State where they blasted out to a big lead, thought the starters' night was over late in the first half, and then saw the second unit surrender a huge run to end the half that forced them to run the starters back out.

If he graduates he can do that...if not he'd have to go DII.

I haven't given up on Joseph. I still think he can be a very good point guard for us next year. We can't rely solely on an incoming freshman, and I think we all know that neither Davion nor TyShon is really the answer at PG.

I don't know that and if you think you do, well....

It doesn’t take a PhD to figure that Alexander, who spent no part of any of the last four years at PG, isn’t the long-term answer there. Mintz was at least marketed as a PG and played some at the position.

I don't want to get into bashing Davion, because I like him and just think he is being asked to play a position that is not natural for him. I will say that if he is our starting PG next year and not playing the 2/3, we are going to be in for another frustratingly, tantalizingly close but just not quite enough 3-5 place BE finish, 6-9 seed in the dance and first weekend exit, and leave it at that. Which is why I am really hoping Joseph stays and figures it out.

Haha, that is not exactly the start I expected.

Well this start is less than ideal.

I'd say get the backups in and hope they play with more intensity than the starters.
