I did a film breakdown of Trey's last three games in honor of his recent accolades. Hope you enjoy.

“Trey is a middle of the road player in the BE. He looked great against cupcake competition but throw real athletic players at him and all sorts of weaknesses are exposed” – Alphawalt

It is inspiring to watch Trey overcome his mediocrity!

Nice breakdown Jacob!

He's had a really interesting season so far. The only thing really missing over time has been some consistency from game to game and his 3 PT shot, and that appears to be coming back.

He's been very effective from 2 PT range most of the season and is up in almost every statistic (more rebounds, assists, points in pure numbers and by rate as well). His turnovers are up a bit, but given the additional ballhandling he's being asked to do, it isn't a giant uptick

I don't have great explanations for what happened in the 5 games where he struggled so much (Loyola, Colo State, UNLV, St. Johns, UConn), but Ashworth playing as well as he has does seem to give Trey more space and freedom and as a team it means we have more alternatives when teams commit to overplaying Trey

I've as guilty as everyone in focusing too much on those games, but when you look at the season as a whole, he's putting together a really exceptional year.. and I think it's even getting better
