Don’t know where else to put this, so might as well start new thread for next year. Found this on twitter from John Rothstein. Unofficial line up for B12 challenge next season.

UConn at Kansas
Texas at Marquette
Houston at Xavier
Villanova at Kansas St
SJU at WVU
Creighton at Oklahoma St
PC at OU
Iowa St at DePaul
TT at Butler
TCU at Georgetown
SHU at Baylor

Didn’t we play an away last year at Texas for the B12 battle?
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

There is a bit about this in the future schedules thread, but if this is accurate it’ll be our third away game in the four years of doing it.

Just saw that Iowa men and women are playing games in Des Moines on Dec 16th.

The opponents are laughable though:

Men : Florida A&M
Women: Cleveland State

Are those still considered "neutral" site games? I thought they made some kind of a change to that designation this past year when the game is so ridiculously close to being home that it's really just a home game. Could be wrong.

I guess if they are neutral, it would be slightly better for the resume to beat those teams on a neutral court than a home court? Not sure why else you'd play those opponents in Des Moines, though.

Would love to see a Creighton - Purdue matchup in the Gavitt Games.

No inside info, but my gut tells me we get either Purdue, Michigan State or Maryland (at home - which has already been confirmed in OWH article) for Gavitt Game.

I don’t think Izzo will allow being sent to Omaha and yes, I think he has the cache to say what’s what to the conference brass.

Yeah. Can’t imagine Izzo letting them send his team here.

Pitino is certainly getting media coverage. I have seen 3 or 4 'headline' articles pop up on Microsoft/Google in the last month. He is going to make St John's a player in the conference. It keeps DePaul & Butler at the bottom most years. But what 2 will usually join them? Providence, Villanova, or... I worry if Mac doesn't last longer than Pitino, Cooley or Miller and we have to hire a new coach.
