Looking like gonna be a tiered BE as usual.

Think X, St Johns, Providence will be bubbly and not super tough.

Then, Hall, Butler, Georgetown and Depaul will not be the greatest. Hall and Butler could enter the tourney borderline convo, but I just don’t see enough there and would be disappointed if we don’t sweep the bottom 4.

I’d also predict we’re 3rd or 4th best conference just on early returns. Nova was down 2 at half at Penn

I'm not convinced Pitino will be able to do that quick of a turnaround

More surprised by Nova being down to UPenn at this point in the game!

I'm not surprised by St Johns. Too many new players, no chemistry.

But what I'm seeing with Villanova is surprising. They seem slow on defense, and my God, they are getting killed on the glass against Penn. If the threes aren't falling, I don't see them grinding out wins like they used to.

Central Michigan won at South Florida to get their first win of the season.

Nebraska also won at home against another low-tier team. Huskers should be unbeaten headed into their home game against us. They do have Oregon State next in Sioux Falls this weekend though. They blew out Lindenwood and Florida A&M, but were more sluggish against slightly better competition in Rider and Stony Brook. Man, I hope we beat the brakes off them. I'm already nervous for Dec. 3.

N Texas was legit last year but lost most of their team. Within 1 of STJ with 8+ to play in Charleston Classic, 39-38. STJ ain’t the shiiitz like many thought.

Edit: Johnnies hang on for one point win.

Okie State loses to Bonnies in Brooklyn. They drop to 1-2.
At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Okie State is creeping into the "bad loss" category....

Kaluma and his Wildcats goes up against AK’s old foe Providence and Hopkins. Or does he? Will be interesting to see.
