I would 100% rather have Shareef Mitchell at the point than Ashworth.

If Mitchell were remotely a PG he'd still be at Creighton. He's getting 29 minutes a game at Ohio (6-7. 0-1 in the MAC, Kenpom 174) averaging 1.8 assists and 1.7 turnovers (you want that as your PG?) and even with getting a ton of shots, he still can't shoot from outside w/.256 from 3 PT

Teams that are 174 in Kenpom play guys like MItchell 30 minutes a game. love the guy, but he isn't a PG and he isn't a high major starter

Ash had a decent game last night. His D is getting better, and 7 assists. No, he ain’t Mo or Marcus, but lighten up.

No thanks. Not even close. We have enough problems with turnovers.

Mac and staff are probably top 5 to 10 staff in college basketball. They know SA strengths and weaknesses clearly by now. Jury is still out on how to make the backcourt as effective as it can be. It hasn't been great thus far in trying to get the right fits/rotations especially in 2nd halves, when games are decided. The spacing/open looks as a result/creating space off dribble/getting the ball to the basket/feeding the post has been a big drop off from last year. We have to hope and trust that the staff will find ways to exploit teams more using strengths of our roster and minimizing shortcomings. Mac has done this consistently for a long time and there is no reason to believe, yet, that he won't do it again.
