Vega insider has the Jays a whooping 10.5 to 11.5 favorite. I realize Prov. is missing one of their best players in Bryce Hopkins but they are still the team that beat both Wisconsin and Marquette. Lots of respect for the Jays.

10.5 is a lot of points to be giving! It really is time for the Jays to come out and show they have what it takes.

Vegas has caught on that Mac basically only plays his starters and FF and Traudt 5 minutes a game.

Why would that somehow make the Jays double digit favorites against a top 25 team, especially given the play in 5 of the last 6 halves of basketball?

Vegas usually knows. 10.5 seems crazy though.

Its all about Hopkins being out.

Edit: Also, CU 13 in the NET and PC 61. I imagine they utilize these ratings in some fashion.

Best 6 players on floor for 95% of game could equate to better +/- as opposed to players 7-9 or 10 getting 10ish minutes per game? I don't know. It was said in jest mostly. Not having Hopkins probably moved line 3-4 points. Maybe 5.

Along the lines of your edit -- Kenpom has them 46th today and it didn't change too much with the last loss. And they've only had 1 real road game this year (Oklahoma) and they lost that one by 21 pts
