On channel 7 news tonight. Praising the Omaha airport. He and Dana marked the beginning of Creighton’s modern era. Thank for bringing us to this level.

Wow. Great job by KETV getting Buford's opinion on Eppley. When I want to know about airports, Rodney Buford would be the go to guy, right? He can certainly let you know which airports have strong screening processes and which ones dont. Top notch reporting by KETV.

He probably has been in a ton of airports when he played in the NBA and for CU

We sure could use Rodney's athleticism on this team! Great player.

One of my all time favorite CU players, who can forget that dunk against Maryland in the tourney in the late 90s.

Second leading scorer in CU history. I am guessing he never graduated since he isn't in the Hall of Fame.

Yes - has to be holding back Rodney and Gallagher.

Maybe someday we could do something for those guys as I'd guess at this point they won't be getting their degrees - but deserve recognition for their status as all timer Jays

The story and a screen grab:

I love how he's in line at the Southwest counter and the reporter's phone is visible, showing Rodney the renderings because he had zero idea what the heck the guy was asking him about. He got the former Nebraska football player treatment -- spotted in public by a reporter, and put on screen because he's a recognizable name to comment on a random bit of news. Hilarious.

He and Dana started the modern era. As others noted, could have used him last night. Blessings. Now go beat the Hall. Go Jays!
