Georgetown has been a much better road team than they have been at home; playing in that cavernous, empty arena can't help. They led in the final three minutes at both Xavier and Providence in the last two weeks but couldn't close out the win. I wouldn't be shocked if this one is closer than Vegas expects it to be. Here's the Primer:

Miller talked about his injury and how it is starting to come around. Both Miller and Mac talked about Green being a great rebounder and defender. Miller talked about trying to box out Green in practice.

Green had a great inreview, talking about trying to make an impact every second he is on the floor.

Mac also mentioned that he thought but Green had a very bright future and how unfortunate it was that he missed a big chunk of the beginning of the season

Mac said appropriately respectful things about Cooley and his team. He mentioned that they had been close against some good teams including X. Mac mentioned that GT had some illness when they got blown out.

No mention of King at all. Might be reading too much into the situation but it seems King is now behind Traudt as back up center and Green is going to get the opportunity to prove he should get more minutes.

I watched the highlight video from Jan. Jays/Hoyas game. All second half, of course. (That first half was bad for the Jays)
King made some nice plays and scored some, too. Bummer that he hasn't elevated his game since.

I think crowd bashing posts are mostly stupid and misplaced and have no idea how good those who are here for the game will be tonight. But there are more empty seats than I can recall in quite a while. I think dollar beer night only hit people would be here anyway and they wasted it for Georgetown.

Dollar beer night definitely wasted on Gtown. Makes more sense to have done it next Tuesday.

I don’t want to get in trouble or bashed for saying it — but not an ideal start against a team like Georgetown. Really sloppy on offense so far.

Get some of these lazy turnovers out of the system now beforehand we get in a brutal final stretch of the season.
