Telfort was a tough cover last game and led Butler with 26 points. He is athletic and 6’7” 235.

Mason only played 12 minutes last time. Not sure how much of that was injury or just a bad match up. Will Green see significant minutes again? He might present strength problems for Mason and quickness problems for Traudt. Baylor did ok but even he got bullied occasionally.

Bizjack has been coming on. We need to make sure to respect him.

It will be different with Posh back.

Hopefully, their third string center, Kapke, won’t hit 3’s tomorrow.

Will be interesting to see how the matchups go. Telfort's a beast, but he's also had some up and down games as well. Posh is back as well, so will change how we play them as well

I really thought we should have given Green a shot against him, even if it was just to give the guy a different look for a bit of time, but hopefully we can keep him from going off this time

Traudt seems to be in a spot for him to prove himself as the backup 5 now, and it would be pretty awesome for him to do to them what Kapke did to us last time

Here's the Primer for tomorrow's game, with a look at what went wrong in that first meeting and what might change tomorrow:

Great article! My thoughts exactly, but stated much more eloquently.

My favorite stat from the primer:

"Taking a step back, this will be Creighton’s 200th regular season Big East game, if you can believe that. They were 51-49 over their first 100, and are 67-32 over the last 99. That latter number is remarkable because it’s practically identical to their marks over their last 200 games in the Missouri Valley: they were 66-34 over their final 100 MVC games, and 69-31 in the 100 before that."

If that doesn't say McDermott deserves a big ole raise, I don't know what to tell ya

+1. Creighton is now winning in the Big East at the same clip as in the Valley. I thought the program would find success in the Big East, but not at this level.

No soft / dumb turnovers would go a long way to winning this game.

And pick up that Finicky Beanbag guy at the half court line. No more buzzer-beating 40 footers from that kid. If we can shut down the Japanese Steph Curry, we should be able to control that Beetlejuice guy.
