Baylor, Trey and Kalk were all great, but I think my player of the game goes to Bello: 5-5 with 12 pts and hit that huge layup and a 3 a min later when we couldn’t get a bucket at all!

That’s a weak take on this.

Some super lukewarm takes by the board this game. Marquette had a good game plan with what they had playing. Ended up in a blowout. Great last couple minutes for the seniors. Think this is a win that looks great for our resume and for Marquette doesn't knock them much given what they were missing. 3 seed very doable with a strong finish.

I don't think it was an embarrassing effort by any means. Marquette has junkyard dogs and played their asses off despite missing 2 key dudes. Pretty ole, lackluster D for too long of stretches, but not embarrassing. Marquette deserves a lot of credit.

Oh good. The board critics are back. How about just enjoy the win and celebrate the seniors?

We're so scouting report dependant, their going five out really hurt with how we defend.

But, when it mattered it was great to see us close this one out.

Huge win by a legendary trio of Jays.

All seniors stepped up in a big way, plus Trey.

3-1 over these last four needed to be the goal. 4-0 was asking a lot. Got the two signature wins (in double digit fashion) that really help the resume. Kolek and Ighodara MIA won’t be reflected in the computer ranking boost.

Tough finish next week against a Nova team that is figuring things out. Motivation should be ending strong and avoiding a sweep in league play.

Props to Marquette for playing so well. Those big guards make it tough on Ashworth/Bello. Cam Jones is a problem. Yet, ended up a blowout against the short-handed #5 team in the country!! I hope the TV ratings are low so most voters and pundits just see the final score.

I stand by my claim that some folks should avoid in-game commentary. Not equipped emotionally. Flat out “embarrassing” (a word misused a lot today) with some of the takes.

Thanks to the seniors! You were never garbage. Always interested and never embarrassed me once! Awesome result for your last home game. Thank you for representing Creighton so well.

Did Shaka get on the court during play?

(I’m in a plane and my Fox sports app let me down. I have it recorded at home)
