Huss and Highpoint beat Cleveland State pretty easily to advance to the semis of the CBI. Flosports carried it, first time I've seen them play.

Johnny Buckets (Christofolis) and Seattle play at 5:30 today against Evansville, also on Flosports. He's averaging 13.2 ppg, shooting .415 on 3s. Would be cool to see him advance to play Huss.

Two thoughts looking at the Sweet Sixteen...

1) Of the top 16 teams in KenPom, 13 of them remain alive in the current Sweet Sixteen. This is not the chaos tourney from last year. I suspect that if someone looked into it, this is probably one of the all-time toughest Sweet Sixteens in terms of seeds and metrics.

2) The Jays are 3-2 against Sweet Sixteen teams (4-2 if you count the secret scrimmage against Iowa State). Tennessee is 4-2.

Clemson is off to a good start so far against Arizona. I think Arizona missed their first 5 3pt attempts and had 3 turnovers before they made their first bucket. Clemson is on a 10-2 scoring run and lead 16-6.

Hoping we start seeing 3,4,5,6 seeds pulling some upsets now. Top seeds aren’t as historically strong, but the teams 8-16 were also pretty weak outside of some 10 and 11 seeds.

Hoping it starts with SDSU beating UConn. BE loyalty be damned

Clingan’s offense isn’t really impressive. Also foul prone. Zona coming back to life

Why would you want SDSU to win that game?

That makes little sense.

The Big East must get as many units as possible to try to compete financially with football conferences. With only 3 teams in saying I want UCONN or Marquette to lose is like saying I want Creighton to fail long term. No, GO BIG EAST!

And I despise Shaka and Hurley!!!!!
