Rutgers 6’8” guard, Gavin Griffiths, reportedly contacted by Creighton. Because this is what I should be focusing on right now.

When I saw his name in the portal, I thought he might be an interesting pickup.

I vaguely recall the Jays recruiting him out of high school.

That will determine what else we need for next year. Green adds more physicality to the rotation just by getting more minutes, but we need a couple of physical forward/guard types to help us in the BE and during the tourney. Don't want to be fighting the "last war", but 2 years in a row now, we've ended up playing likely the most physical (dare the refs) defensive teams in the country, and the direction in the BE has been to allow more and more physical play as well. I don't want to give up our style of play, but we need someone we can go out and play ugly when we need them to (sorta like how Semenko for Gretzky)

Interesting… Kansas 247 site reported we hadnt even reached out as of 2 days ago. I heard from an SDSU parent earlier this year that Zeke wanted to be at Creighton next year. Wonder if this is him asking Creighton to reach out.

I saw that Missouri St's leading-everything guard Alston Mason is portaling. Interesting kid. He's got a side hustle.

Mason is an international fashion model and in high demand apparently, just like his model mom and model older brother. Between two games in late February, he jetted off to Paris where he walked the runway at some sort of Paris fashion week event. Then, right back to Springfield. That must have felt like traveling back through time. Anyway, I wonder how Mac would deal with that.
