False. I just don't get the random hate towards another Creighton fan that does good work. Seems extremely strange to me.

To be fair - I had zero hate directed toward a Creighton fan that does good work.

The 50% 3 point shooter from Dayton makes a cut.

I’m hoping we get more athletic players from the portal. This season one thing that kept us from going further was athletic teams. All our loses outside of butler at home (they were just on fire, they’d have beaten anyone that night) were loses to teams that were extremely athletic and physical.

I feel Trey may have struggled from the outside this season because he was our only guy who could get downhill. LJ will help with that next year. But if Trey is coming back I hope the transfer we go for can help him out a bit. Trey his somphmore year had Art and R2 right by him so that took some pressure off him.

Lots on this board didn’t want pop Isaac’s but we can all agree he’d be able to create his own shot and get downhill. So a little worried that we are missing out on athletic guards and seem to be settling on shooting guards when we have plenty of those. Heck we are going to have a shooting back up center in Issac T next season. Can Jasen G become a downhill bruiser next season? Maybe. We will see.

Just not wowing kids this year into shutting down the process after a visit and committing.

O'Connell was waaaaaay underrated when he was here. He was an excellent shooter, a pretty good rebounder, GREAT movement off the ball and a decent defender. I would take him and Hawkins any day of the week and twice on NCAA Tournament days. Winners...

O'Connell was a work in progress when he got here and while he kept improving with us, he still had untapped potential

He was an absolute freak athlete. Is he still playing in Italy?

Looks like it... comes off the bench and gets 10 minutes a game... which is 11th on the team. The most anyone plays is 27 and most players are around 18-22 per game.

EvanMiya transfer rankings of Creighton guard targets:
    10. Deivon Smith (Utah)
      Off Eff: +3.6
      Def Eff +2.15
    15. Chucky Hepburn (Wisconsin)
      Off Eff: +3.25
      Def Eff +2.27
    16. Pop Isaacs (Texas Tech)
      Off Eff: +3.84
      Def Eff +1.58
    34. Dallin Hall (BYU)
      Off Eff: +3.81
      Def Eff +1.12
    93. Aidan Mahaney (St Marys)
      Off Eff: +3.14
      Def Eff +0.75
Looks like Mahaney's defensive efficiency drops his ranking way down..

Other interesting finding is that the average rank of the transfers we have "missed on" is 234. Makes me a little less concerned with our lack of early portal success.

Interesting. Thanks for this. We know Mac is into analytics so this may very well be something he utilizes in his portal strategy.
