“I would say me being on the team is a step in the right direction just because the ability with which I pass the ball and my IQ for the game, not many people at my size can do things I do with the ball,” Patton said. “Whether it be making a play on the offensive end or the defensive end, whether it's rotating and blocking a shot or being able to be in the right spot at the right time, just knowing the game. I would say the biggest thing is my IQ.”

Justin is a smart guy. He picked Creighton over the Corn.

Very happy for Justin indeed. If Doug's rookie season with Thibs at the helm in Chicago is any indication of how much playing time JP will get, I imagine he gets a chance early on in the season to show his worth, and his defense will be what gets his minutes cut. But Thibs is a great defensive coach and I'm sure is already thinking about the options JP will provide on pnr switches.

Wonder what you mentioning Creighton with respect to UCLA and Kentucky in this thread with 75,000 views is worth?

How much did the 9-year Tugs Bowen recruiting chase mean for Creighton media exposure?

The big money on recruiting doesn't start until the messageboard thread hit 200 pages.
