Bluejays swept by Marquette. Knew it might be tough there this year but somewhat shocked they were swept.

Barber for MU was a beast and their setter was excellent. The Jays were tight, constantly playing from behind with few answers for what MU threw at them.
Great venue to watch volleyball and their band was solid.
Opportunity to regroup tomorrow at DePaul.

The block needs to show up consistently and as for offense, it goes how the outsides go. Loss to Marquette is a good reminder that undefeated conference seasons like last year's should never be taken for granted. Creighton and Marquette will duke out the league race to the end. And they host the conference tournament. To earn a seed, Jays will need to go 11-1 and win the conference tournament or run the table at 12-0 and lose in the conference tournament championship.
"I want to beat (NU) so bad. This is a blue state...I’m a Creighton Bluejay. I’ve always wanted to go to Creighton...never really liked Nebraska...Creighton trusted me and Nebraska was just…out there...Can’t wait to play ’em..." ~Justin Patton
