A Huskies publication says he may reclassify to 2019. No explanation why. But it does not appear that Washington expects for him to sign this year. Washington article says they signed 3 on NLI day without Ed. According to their Website, they have two seniors on the roster this year. So, it appears that WA overcommitted and Ed is the odd guy out. My guess is if he really wants to be at WA, he will reclassify to 2019. If he has a great year at the prep school he is transferring to, he might still end up somewhere else next fall if he doesn't want to spend yet another year in prep school. I still don't know if he is a fit at Creighton from the standpoint of his skill set, but we will see how our recruiting plays out. DISCLAIMER: all conjecture on my part based on WA's roster and the article I found.

I am wondering if Ed Chang's decommit from Washington is coincidental with Harrell leaving.

No inside info but I note that Christian Bishop just followed Ed Chang on Twitter.

Creighton reached out to former Washington commit, Ed Chang, per source. Oklahoma State offered yesterday.

Wait - you don’t think it’s a coincidence? You think the decommit was because of Harrell transferring?

I think we can do better than a guy that got recruited over at Washington. Many of the transfer targets that we're in on are much more intriguing prospects in my opinion.
