This week I was in the East presenting my CAGW paper, “A short history of failed Doomsday predictions: Malthus to Rome to Gore.” Last night I was hanging in a hipster bar when we decide to leave. The place is SRO and I decide to give our prime table to a deserving hipster. The winner of the table will be the first couple who know where Creighton is.

The winner said: Midwest, Ohio. Close enough.

Wow I changed my mind. You must be pretty cool if you drink at a bar with “hipsters”

The most manipulative and pathetic CAGW scare tactic yet: no more chocolate in 40 years.

This BS was so much BS that even Snopes called BS on it and they didn’t even have to attack the BS of CAGW.

http://www.snopes.com/chocolate-extinct-40-years/

I can only imagine the deep strategic thinking that went into that research study. Let’s scare the women into backing global warming by taking away their chocolate. Put a deadline on it that isn’t too far away but those people will never call us out when we are wrong in 40 years.

It is all about money. Generating research money to solve problems that don’t exist.

You mean like establishing a voter fraud commission to get to the bottom of all the voter fraud that The Donald experienced?

The failure of Green energy in Minnesota. Ten to fifteen billion spent, higher electricty prices and little reduction in carbon dioxide.

And, of course, taxpayers paid billions for the new wind mills in Iowa.

Predictions are hard, especially about the future.

At the link:

1. Mild winter prediction for this year was dead wrong.

2. Polar bears thrive.

And these are the same people who want to triple electricity costs in order to save 0.03 degrees by 2100. Sign me up. Science!
