Hard telling what will happen. But maybe it becomes a boon for mid majors and smaller schools to get higher level high school kids for a year or two, while major programs trend more toward scooping those kids up as transfers.
Definitely some logic to getting more transfers in the balance than before as long as that second transfer more often requires sitting out a year to make it a little less attractive — slightly better odds of keeping someone after the first transfer for the rest of their career.
