The CSN Top 144 countdown has begun! Can the season be far behind?

Yes, the official beginning of the college basketball season! I wonder how long before Seton Hall shows up.

Can’t wait to see how this team comes together. Big challenge for Coach to bring in so many new faces and especially with some of those new faces likely to be the stars of the team.

Mac always does a great job of bringing the team together and I’m sure he will again but it is a different challenge than any before. It will be fun to watch.

Excellent observation Seattle. Mac & Co. gotta really preach cohesion and 'buy-in' during this summer. So many kids from differing systems & styles of play. No overseas trip this summer?

A few points:

1 These guys/young men were under good coaching regimes in their previous university environment.
2 They are smart, generally with high hoops IQs, and have been adept at switching from 'organized' hoops to the shoe circuits / 'club' hoops over the years.
3 The Jays uptempo run & shoot is a consistently attractive style of play for the modern collegiate player. It is an exciting brand of ball that they will strive to learn and want to play in.
4 Excellent assortment of talent. Melding them into a unit will be challenging, but Mac has done this before. Should be a great squad.
