haha. ya, he never missed.....Strikes me as the type of kid that will likely end up as a top 100 4 star by the time he gets on campus, not that it matters.

Agree it doesn't matter so much once he's on campus, but I also think he'll end up ranked higher. Oregon was a finalist (meaning he almost certainly had an offer he could commit to there) and their recruiting classes have very few guys out of the top 100 - using 247 excluding transfers),
2023 was 15, 24, 27
2022 was 7, 3, (and the #11 JUCO)
2021 was 28th, 7th, and a Canadian player who transferred

In addition, Alabama and Virginia started to show interest, Iowa State and Ole Miss offered as well

He's a guy who can fill a lot of different roles on the team from 3 to 1 and who plays a game that looks to be a great fit with our system.

Not doubting that this is legit, but recruiting services have a history of bumping guys depending on where they eventually commit. Nice to know that the CU program has that kind of stroke now.

Or it could just be another instance of them assigning a ranking to a guy they really haven't watched closely until after the commitment.

Ty has been elevated to four star status by Rivals. However, he doesn’t yet show in their Top 150. Since four star status or better is only afforded the top 107 in their present rankings I would surmise that a reshuffle of the list is imminent and Ty will show up there. CU has the 9th ranked recruiting class to date at Rivals.

Looks like they have him at number 67, unless I am looking at it wrong. Also the CU class is up to # 7, one ahead of Kansas. WOW!
