This was worse than 2017 when we started 18-1 then lost to Marquette and then by 20 @Georgetown 51-71.

Every team has a bad night every now and then, but we are only 1/3 through the season already laid eggs against Neb, SDSU and the first half of Alabama and now this rout by Georgetown

He only plays well in garbage time. I can't believe he's taking up a roster spot.

He's had nice moments this year that weren't in garbage time.

There's plenty more guys you could argue are "taking a roster spot" more than Fred King. He's a back up 5 to a guy who plays 30+ minutes per game.

How about the guys we have playing the 3/4 and legit minutes at that, who look like they'd struggle in NAIA ball?

Oh for sure. Mason Miller is a recruiting bust until further notice.

Miller should not be starting the rest of the season. I don’t know if Mac is trying to help his confidence but this experiment should be done. Now 3-23 from 3 on the season, give those min to someone else.

At Creighton Bob Gibson majored in sociology and starred in Basketball and Baseball. In 1957 Gibson received a $3,000 sign-on bonus with St. Louis Cardinals, but delayed his HOF Cards career a year to play pro B-ball with the Harlem Globetrotters.

Maybe the guys were point-shaving? If so, they really should be a bit more subtle....

Nobody else made a big case for themselves tonight …

If only they made a few, or 8, more 3s it would have been a game. 10 assists to 16 turnovers and outrebounded by 11 on top of the abysmal defense can only mask missing a few 3s. They need an overhaul on both ends.

Tonight was 3 on 5. It’s pretty easy to gameplan vs us. Double Kalk. Hound Ashworth since he has to play 40 minutes. He got tired early on in the second half. Sag off of Neal after he catches it.

What an embarrassing performance. No energy, no execution, no defense. This team needs some dudes. Right now, we have none.

1) Kalkbrenner still plays with little energy and fight. Without premier guards that can run the high pick/roll to rim, he's useless on offense. Teams now simply front him and he can't fight over the front to demand the ball or our guards can't move the ball to take advantage of the front on the back side.

2) We have no playmakers. Neal is the closest we have and he's iffy at best. There's put no pressure on defenses going to the rim.

3) We have two 6-10 guys who do nothing but shoot 3's. What good is 6-10 if you spend 90% of the time drifting around the three-point line.

4) We lost a lot of talent. We have not come remotely close in replacing it. Miller/Traudt haven't stepped up. McAndrew shows flashes, but he's so one dimensional right now and needs to add 30 pounds.

Gonna be a long conference season.
